[Case Study] A 600W wireless charging system has been adopted.

This is a case study on the introduction to Toyota Industries Corporation, which is engaged in the development, production, and sales of automotive, industrial vehicles, and textile machinery.

This is a case study introducing the implementation of the B&PLUS 600W wireless charging system at Toyota Industries Corporation, which is engaged in development, production, and sales in the automotive, industrial vehicle, and textile machinery sectors. The 600W wireless charging system met their requirements in terms of functionality, delivery time, and cost, and they adopted it due to the prompt and accurate communication and after-sales service. After implementation, switching to a fully wireless charging system reduced labor hours, resulting in significant annual cost savings. 【Implementation Effects】 - The transition to a fully wireless charging system reduced labor hours, leading to considerable annual cost savings. - The risk of electric shock associated with heavy lifting during battery replacement and connector plugging and unplugging was reduced. - The previously essential water supply work became unnecessary, lowering the risk of battery fluid contamination. - The reduction in spare batteries led to a decrease in overall battery inventory in the factory. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Wireless Charging Power Supply System

Achieve labor-saving with wireless charging! No wiring needed, increasing the freedom of the traverser.

The "Wireless Charging Power Supply System" helps reduce the labor involved in battery charging and ensures safety on-site. Traditionally, charging a battery required connecting contacts such as connectors or removing the battery for charging, which was cumbersome. With a wireless charging system, you only need to align the heads. For example, with an AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle), it is possible to perform supplementary charging while loading and unloading cargo by aligning the heads. There are charging systems specifically for 24V lead-acid batteries with a capacity of 30A7V, which are frequently inquired about for AGV charging, as well as a collaborative product with Maxell, a charging system specifically for 28.9V1A Maxell lithium-ion secondary batteries. When used on a transport line, it allows for flexible design. 【Benefits of Wireless Charging】 ■ Achieves wireless charging of up to 210W ■ Wireless charging for lead-acid or lithium-ion batteries by simply aligning the heads ■ No risk of electric shock even if the heads are touched, as it is wireless ■ The heads have an IP65 protection structure *For more details, please feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] AGV × 600W Wireless Charging System

This is a case study of the introduction to Tanaka Engineering, which processes parts for four-wheeled vehicles, two-wheeled vehicles, and aerospace.

This is a case study introduction for Tanaka Engineering, which excels in machining parts for four-wheeled vehicles, two-wheeled vehicles, and aerospace with outstanding processing technology. They initially adopted a non-contact charger but faced challenges with transmission distance and the surrounding environment of the charging head, and were seeking solutions. Therefore, they implemented the "600W Wireless Charging System." After the installation, it was noted that there is no impact on surrounding equipment, which is very appealing. 【Case Overview】 ■Challenges - They had adopted a non-contact charger but faced issues with transmission distance and the surrounding environment of the charging head, and were looking for solutions. ■Implementation Effects - There is no longer any impact on surrounding equipment. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Wireless Charging System D-PAD

Grab the Future with AMHS

● Non-contact charging system "D-PAD" It enables wireless automatic charging for electric vehicles equipped with batteries, such as forklifts and automated guided vehicles (AGVs). It can charge safely even in environments with water, oil, or dust, and since it is non-contact, there are no sliding parts, resulting in no wear and tear, allowing for maintenance-free use even in cases with frequent charging. Furthermore, it can charge even if the stopping position is slightly misaligned, making it easy to achieve opportunity charging and preventing stops due to battery depletion.

Clean and safe energy transmission with magnetic applications!

Keywords: Wireless power transfer, contactless power supply, electric mobility, EV, welding robots, electrical equipment, power electronics, arc welding.

Electric devices and power electronics technology are one of the fields that Japan can be proud of. Among them, wireless power transfer, which is gaining attention with the spread of electric vehicles (EVs), is a technology that can safely transmit energy regardless of contact failure. The principle involves a transformer with a large air gap, where alternating current is passed through the primary coil to generate a magnetic flux, which is then transmitted to the secondary coil to induce electromotive force (electromagnetic induction). By using an alternating power source with a frequency of several tens of kHz or higher and connecting appropriate resonant capacitors to both the primary and secondary coils, energy transmission can be achieved with over 90% power efficiency. In our laboratory, we have published numerous papers on theoretical analysis of input-output characteristics and maximum efficiency conditions, as well as comparisons of power transfer characteristics with various coil shapes. We are particularly focused on developing wireless charging systems that are effective for electric mobility such as EVs. Additionally, we are conducting research on the advancement and intelligence of welding equipment, including high-performance arc welding robots that utilize external magnetic fields as a magnetic application.
